Nanotechnology is a cross-cutting and frontier discipline that has gradually developed in the late 1980s. At present, the State Economic and Trade Commission has included nanomaterials in the list of key national developments. PVC nano plastic is a kind of polymer material formed by in-situ polymerization type compounding technology, which is filled with nano-sized ultra-fine inorganic particles into PVC matrix and modified to have high strength, high modulus, high toughness, high stability and barrier. The electrochemical plant has boldly conducted industrial tests of nanomaterials to produce high-performance, in-situ polymerized PVC resins suitable for chemical building materials, in preparation for further participation in fierce domestic and international competition.
For this project, the electrochemistry plant firmly seized the opportunity of cooperation and adopted the nano Calcium Carbonate emulsification technology and in-situ polymerization technology provided by the company. The research staff of the electrochemical plant researched the effects of the amount of nano-calcium carbonate on the morphology of the resin particles, the amount and amount of dispersant used, the effect of the amount of nano-calcium carbonate on the polymerization process, and the influence on the polymerization process. Formulations and operating conditions have been optimized. According to the Xiaokai test results, 14 stills were produced on a 30-cubic meter industrialized unit, in which the DCS control process was smooth and the material was completely closed. The experimental results show that whiteness and apparent density increase by 7% and 8%, respectively.
When the resin is processed, the flow performance is good and the host current is reduced by about 10%, which can greatly reduce the consumption and increase the output of the product.
