Light Stabilizer (also known as photostabilizer) is an additive in polymer products (such as plastics, rubber, coatings, synthetic fibers). It can shield or absorb the energy of ultraviolet rays, quench singlet oxygen, and decompose hydrogen peroxide into inactive substances. Under the radiation of light, polymer can eliminate or slow down the possibility of photochemical reactions, prevent or delay the process of photo aging, So as to achieve the goal of extending the service life of polymer products

A new light STABILIZER mixture can provide permanent protection for polyethylene films and molded products that come into contact with chemicals. Its application targets are LDPE, LLDPE, and EVA, particularly agricultural films. Licovin N91 produced by American company Clariant (Chanlotte, NC) is based on an oligomeric HALS, and Hostavin N30 is less chemosensitive than other HALS. In combination with the Hostanox 016 phenolic antioxidant and the Hostanox PAR24 phosphite, the highest transparency of the greenhouse film can be retained. Low dust particles are FDA approved for use in contact with food.
